I have survived

January 20, 2011

I have been to Costa Rica and I have been liberated. It was and still is amazing.  I have no pain, I have feeling in both my feet and hands. My balance has return and I can walk up right like a man. I have no brain fog…lol that’s bad stuff. Best of all I feel in control of my life. I have a lot of working out to do but no matter how hard it is I improve daily. You can check out my frist day in Costa Rica

The day of my liberation

I thank everyone who helped make this happen. A big shout out to Mark Belbin and his company Wavelore. I will keep you posted on my progress and much thanks once again

Big day tomorrow

December 15, 2010

Hey everyone,
John’s surgery is tomorrow, and we’ll keep you as updated as we can.  He has met with the docs, had he pre-op exam and started physio.

Keep him in your thoughts tomorrow.

A note from John

December 3, 2010

“Today is the best day of my life. Seven years of misery and only one day for each year of misery to go to liberation. It now seems in sight..Much, much thanks for everyones’ help.”

– John

John posted that today on his Facebook wall and I think it so inspiring and so uplifting.  Please leave a comment here and show your continued support.  Without all of you, this would not be a dream, it would not be possible.

Amazing honor for an amazing friend

October 25, 2010

David Fitzpatrick has been an amazing family friend for many many years.  He’s a talented musician, producer, and song writer.   Its for those writing skills that he was just awarded the “Collective Works” placement from the Song of The Year songwriting contest.

Congratulations David!!!

Interested to hear what all the fuss is about?  View his ReverbNation website, with blog links, here:   Listen to his music and check out his merch while you are there.  An amazing collection of music for sure.

You can go to for everything Fitz.

David is also the main organizer behind a huge benefit for John coming up November 6th.  He has been instrumental (no pun intended) in securing some of the best acts in Newfoundland.  You can have a look at the benefit poster in a previous post.   Block out that date in your calender cause you not going to want to miss it!

Listen to David’s latest now:  Liberation (Get Up)
